Art direction / Branding / Videography                                                                                                  Bacata Collective is a vibrant music collective from Toronto, blending minimal-house, rominimal and deep-house. Turning rooftops, outdoors and dance floors into immersive experiences surrounded by music, curating sounds and moments that connect artists, people, and spaces.  Bacata embraces nature, art and music as a bond to share an audiovisual experience as a human expression. Spotlighting DJs and producers rooted in local and international dance culture. 
The name Bacata is the indigenous name of Bogotá (capital of Colombia and city where the founders of the collective are from) Meaning ‘field of praise’ Bacata reflects the land where the city is geographically rooted, a place of origin, gathering and expression.

Since its foundation in 2023 Bacata has grown organically within the local scene, positioning itself as a forward-thinking music and events collective. Collaborating with leading electronic music venues in the city such as CODA, Vertigo, Future, Secret Society and hosting it's own stage at the BPM Festival in Costa Rica 2025.  Along the way Bacata has worked with both local and international artists including Lee Burridge, Prunk, MELE, Felipe Gordon,  and Double Touch among others.

To foster connection between local artists and the community, developed a design system that establishes a cohesive language across multiple digital channels. The system ensures consistency within Bacata’s brand while allowing adaptability across platforms. Assets were deployed across social media like Instagram, Youtube and streaming platforms like SoundCloud to strengthen recognition and engagement.
